A loan of $375 helped to buy more rice and sugar for her store.

Luz Ayda's story

Luz is 20 years old and single. She lives in the district of José Leonardo Ortiz in Chiclayo, which is the capital of the Lambayeque region. Her community is small and is growing. Currently she only has light services; they are in the process of installing water services.

For more than 2 years, she has had a store where she offers a sale to her neighbors and customers in the area on a variety of everyday consumer products including staple items and groceries. Her shop is located in the Carolina Market, which is very popular with the public community. Therefore, her business is very well received and she has loyal customers. Luz has requested a loan of 1000 soles to invest in the purchase of more merchandise for her store, specifically rice and sugar. Luz hopes to increase revenue to raise her standard of living.
