A loan of $725 helped to buy balanced feed and a young bull.

America's story

America is 27 years old, married, and has a 5 year-old son. They live in a small community in the Pitipo district, an agricultural area that is located an hour from the city of Chiclayo, the capital of the Lambayeque region. She has been raising cattle for more than 5 years. She also raises sheep and cultivates yellow corn on her father's land. Her business has been well accepted, since the animals raised in the country are sought after because of their pleasant taste. She has requested a loan of 2,000 Peruvian soles to invest in the purchase of balanced feed and the purchase of a young bull that she will fatten to later sell. These purchases will help her to increase her income and in this way raise her standard of living. America is very hardworking and responsible. She took an earlier loan with Edpyme Alternativa, and she fulfilled her obligations in a punctual manner. Since the time that she became a client of Edpyme Alternativa she has seen growth in her business. When she took her first loan she was only raising large animals, but now she also raises sheep.
