A loan of $2,875 helped a member to purchase fabric.

El Futuro Group's story

Several women from the Julio Correa suburb in the city of Luque joined together and decided to form a new group, after the "La Esperanza" comittee in the same neighborhood disbanded. Currently the committee is in the fifith cycle of the "Comité de Mujeres Emprendedoras" program and is made up of 17 members who have invested in different businesses, all in the area of tailoring and dressmaking. Exaltacion A. heads up the committee, she is married and has two children. She decided to become a member of this group to expand her business and also because she really likes to work with the other members and share with them. Exaltacion will use the loan for her dressmaking workshop, buying fabric to increase the production of clothes which she will then sell to her pre-existing customers.

In this group: Exaltacion, Laura Mabel, Blanca, Candida, Cinthia, Ruth Paola, Catalina, Hermelinda, Magdalena, Ysabel, Maria Gladys, Isidora, Maria Laura, Ana Beatriz, Maria*, Angelica, Dalia*
