David Alfonso's story

David C. is a businessman who has succeeded, with his 13-year-old business selling ripe bananas wholesale, at supporting his household made up of his wife and their two children. Although his first experience was in setting up a shop, he decided to switch to this business to be able to bring in better earnings with reduced working hours. Thus he has felt contented from the very first moment in which he rented his stand at the fruit market, setting about the task of acquiring customers and growing gradually by adding new fruits.

Currently he is seeking his first financing with Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, by which he will add new capital in order to increase the volume of cash purchases of bananas and make additional earnings by applying this system. Furthermore this debt acquisition will help him open up the possibilities for enticing new customers by offering them some highly desirable products. His dream and major challenge is to capitalize his business to a level at which his income will allow him to handsomely adapt the housing that he recently acquired by his own efforts.
