Angel Segundo A. M. is 47 years old. He is married, and he lives with his wife and his single children in the canton of Guaranda in Bolivar province. He has 5 children.

The members of the rural communal bank "Grupo Enmanuel" are located in Recinto San Juan, which is part of the canton of Guaranda. This communal bank has 17 members who work as farmers cultivating short cycle varieties of corn, wheat and potatoes in large quantities; they also raise animals such as pigs and chickens.

Angel is a farmer who cultivates corn and raises pigs and hens. He buys his animal feed products in the Silva store every weekend, and he sells his products in the Thursday markets that are held in the city of Guaranda.

He requests this loan to cultivate more wheat and potatoes, and to buy animals, feed, and farming supplies. The support of this loan will help him financially to get the supplies he needs. He must deal with challenges such as the pests, diseases and weather changes that affect his crops. His dream is to have his own house and land.
