Nouhoum's story

Mr. Nouhoum Koné is a 39-year-old married man and a father of one child. He lives with his wife and child in Bougouni, in the Hérémakono Nord district. After Koran school, he remained without a job for a long time. And so, after careful consideration, he decided to learn from his friend how to market cattle. With a bit of working capital, he decided to go into business by himself. With nine years of experience, he has a command of his business.

With regard to bolstering his business, he decided to join the loan program of the micro-finance institution Soro Yiriwaso. With this loan, he plans on buying cattle in Bougouni and in the surrounding villages. His customer base is composed of butchers in particular. With this loan, he plans on making a monthly profit of 40,000 francs CFA.
