A loan of $725 helped to buy merchandise and school supplies for her grocery store.

Gladys Del Pilar's story

Gladys is 33 years old, married, and lives with her husband and three children in the village of Santa Elena. Her village is 15 kilometers from the agricultural district of TambogranD., an agricultural area located in Piura region, more than four hours from the city of Chiclayo, the capital of Lambayeque region.

Gladys has a grocery store located in her home. She sells a range of essentials and groceries to her neighbors. She has been in her business for 3 years and has a loyal customer base. This business has enabled Gladys to help her husband cover their family's financial expenses.

Gladys would like to expand her business by purchasing more merchandise, especially school supplies so that she can meet her customers' demands during this back-to-school season. For this reason, she is requesting a loan for 2,000 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa.
