Clémentine D. raises pigs in the Rubavu district. She is married and has two children (a two-year-old and a five-year-old; one of them goes to school) and a dependent. Clémentine is educated to the A2 level in pedagogy; this credit is her first cycle with ABC. She will use her loan to purchase livestock (pigs), to raise it, and to build up her farm. Her strategy for the growth of the business is to closely monitor her livestock's health, to increase the number of pigs to raise, to protect them against diseases, and to feed them well. She would like to increase the number of pigs she raises, derive sufficient income from this project, and to reach self-financing. As far as her family and life are concerned, she would like to send all her children to school, pursue her studies, and improve her family's housing.
