Juan Gilberto's story

Juan is 67 years old, married, and has a 15 year-old son. They live in the urban part of Chepén district, in La Libertad region, more than four hours from the city of Chiclayo, the capital of Lambayeque region.

For more than 20 years, Juan has been selling bags. He sells his products daily from a stall in Chepén local market. Juan is very well known in his area and has an established customer base. He would like to expand his business by purchasing more merchandise to sell. For this reason, he is requesting a loan for 1,000 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa. Juan is a very hard-working and responsible person. He has good work references and personal references from his community. His greatest wish is to continue working to get his family ahead in life.
