Jose Leoncio's story

Leoncio is 56 years old, married, and he doesn't have children who are still dependent. He in his own house made of rustic materials. He lives in the community of Capilla Santa Rosa, located 10 minutes from the city of Lambayeque.

He raises and sells livestock, a very common occupation in the rural region of Lambayeque.

Leoncio also has a small convenience store from where he sells jora (an ingredient necessary to make chicha) and sugar. Additionally he also works in agriculture and is a laborer.

Leoncio wants to invest in the purchase of feed for his livestock and to purchase groceries to supply his store. For this reason he has requested a loan of 1300 nuevos soles from Edpyme Alternativa (Kiva Field Partner).
