A loan of $2,525 helped a member to buy clothes in bulk.

Las Muñecas Group's story

The "Las Muñecas" (Dolls) community bank is entering its third loan cycle. Over previous loan cycles the members of this bank have shown themselves to be very punctual and responsible. Their businesses are selling clothes and offering services.

The bank's president is Yolanda who lives in a rental house in La Chimba neighborhood. She is single and has one child. Yolanda has been selling clothes since she was very young. She has requested this loan to increase her working capital, buying merchandise such as sweaters and pants to sell.

Yolanda is a very hard-working and responsible person who is getting her son ahead in life on her own. She wishes for a better future for her son. She would like him to study and become a professional. Yolanda is very grateful to the institution for the support they have offered her.

In this group: Yolanda, Mariela, Malena, Jhino, Nohora Eugenia, Ana Maria, Jose, Juana
