Beatha is 24 years old, married, and has 2 children, aged 2 and 5 years. Her older child is in nursery school and the younger one is not yet old enough for school.
Since 1996, Beatha has been running a shop in which she sells shoes, bags, plates, soaps, cottons, and other housewares. This business has allowed Beatha to add annexes to her home. Beatha's husband is in the same business, running a shop in a different market.
With this loan, Beatha intends to buy additional shoes, bags and other housewares to sell. She hopes to reinvest to profits back into her business.
