A loan of $375 helped to buy more beauty products for her business.

Sandra Pilar's story

Sandra, 21, lives with her husband and child in her own house in the rural part of San Eduardo-Colera settlement in Tambogrande district, an agricultural zone located in Piura province which is in Piura region, over four hours from the city of Chiclayo, Lambayeque region’s capital. She still does not have basic utilities like electricity and potable water.

She has been selling beauty products like makeup, perfume and colognes, for the past three years. She sells from home but also visits her customers door to door in nearby settlements. She has no competition in this line of work because she has a well-established, regular customer base.

She wants to invest her loan in the purchase of merchandise. She hopes to increase sales to increase income and improve her family’s quality of life. Because of this she has decided to ask Edpyme Alternativa for a 1000 new sol loan.
