Tegemeo Group's story

Asili S., who is in his early fifties, is married with five children. He has been operating a second hand clothes business since 2007. He works from 8am to 5pm daily and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be Asili's 11th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to increase his capital and managed to buy a good stock of clothes, and has paid back his loans successfully. He hopes for a loan to increase his stock. His dream is to open a shop for selling food.

Asili will share this loan with his loan group, T., which has a total of eighteen members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable in paying back their loans.
