A loan of $375 helped to buy more merchandise for her store.

Amalia Elizabeth's story

Amalia is 35 years old, married, and has 2 children. They live in Patapo district: an urban area near Chiclayo, the capital of Lambayeque region. Amalia earns her living running a store where she sells groceries, candies, iced treats, drinks and fast food. She has more than one year's experience in this field. Her store is located in a strategic area opposite Patapo Park. This means that she constantly has customers.

Amalia provides products and food that are very much in demand with her customers. She would like to increase her working capital since, over time, demand has risen ostensibly. For this reason, she is requesting a loan for 1,000 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa. This investment will allow her to increase her profits and thereby improve her standard of living.
