A loan of $1,175 helped to buy American shoes.

Mariela Getzabel's story

Mariela G., 26, is married and has a 3 year-old daughter. She has a business selling new and used clothing, and she also sells food and tortillas. She started in business when she was very young, since her mother, in order to provide for the family, used to sell food. Ever since then she has enjoyed selling. Mariela thanks God first and also FAPE for providing a loan so that she can stock her business. She requests this loan to invest in the purchase of American shoes, since she has a lot of demand from her customers for these products. Her biggest dream for the short run is to be able to have her own store where she can sell American shoes, so that she would not have to sell on the street. Her dream for the long run is to see her daughter have a better future.
