A loan of $450 helped to buy chickens, guinea pigs and animal feed.

Ana Lucía's story

Mrs. Ana A. is a member of the Tocte communal bank. She lives in a community with the same name that belongs to Jadan Parish. Its residents raise animals and farm. Many are craftspeople. It has beautiful scenery and its residents are kind and cordial.

Ana is 25 years old, married and has four children who are 10, 8, 6 and 3 years of age. The three oldest go to the local little elementary school. Her husband works installing stucco ceilings. Their joint work as a couple has made it possible for them to build their own house.

Ana dedicates herself to household chores and to caring for her children. She also raises animals like guinea pigs and chickens that she sells in her community.

This is her sixth loan with the communal bank. The new loan will be used to buy chickens, guinea pigs and animal feed for them. Her goal is to finish her house.
