A loan of $1,000 helped to buy tires for her two cars and a bit of merchandise for her grocery store.

Deysi Beatriz's story

Deysi belongs to the “Tercer Milenio” (Third Milenium) Communal Bank. This bank is located in the Urubamba district, Urubamba province, Cusco department.

Deysi is 31 years old, single, and has a little six year old son. She has a grocery store. Also, her father’s help, her own hard work, her communal bank, and her grocery business have allowed her to buy two second-hand cars. She puts the cars to work as taxis on the Cusco Urabamba and the Urubamba Ollantaytambo route.

She wants the loan to buy tires for her cars and to perform maintenance on the cars. She will use the remainder of the loan to buy merchandise for her grocery store. She supports her family, and they support her. She shows us that working as a team and perseverance pays off.

She is requesting the loan to buy tires for her two cars and a bit of merchandise for her grocery store.

She is happy about the loan that was granted, and she pledges to make her payments on time.
