A loan of $600 helped a member to purchase chickens and poultry feed.

Los Apocentos Group's story

“Los Aposentos” (The Chambers) Solidarity Group

Gloria Q. H. is 42 years old and sells chickens from her stand at the local market, but she also sells as a wholesaler from her home. She has been raising and selling chickens for eight years. Gloria also worked with another credit organization, but when she needed more money, her request was denied. For this reason, she resorted to a solidarity group loan so that she could buy chickens to sell.

Alma Guadalupe P. U. raises and sells chickens, but she also sells basic food products. She needs a loan to buy chickens to raise as well as feed for these birds. She hopes that FAPE and Kiva can assist her with this loan.
