Jorge Faustino's story

Jorge Faustino M. H. is 55-years-old, married, and lives with his wife and children in the Cantón Chillanes Province in Bolivia. He has three children.

The members of the V.R.C. Juntos Progresamos (Together We Make Progress) are located in the Matilda Esther region of the Cantón Chillanes. This group of 12 members works in agriculture with short season corn, rice, and passion fruit crops in small quantities and raising small animals such as pigs and chickens.

Jorge works in agriculture growing corn, rice, and passion fruit. He buys his products in Mata de Cacao at the end of each month and sells them at the Sunday fair in Chillanes.

He is requesting the loan to grow corn, rice, and passion fruit. With the support of the loan, he will have the economic help needed for supplies. He faces challenges like pests and plant diseases and changes in the weather. His dream is to by parcels of land to continue working.

He likes to work in agriculture.
