Luzmila's story

Luzmila is 42 years old and lives in her own home with her husband and three children. For 8 years, she has been selling building supplies such as sand and stone for making cement that is used in building houses Her husband stocks the business with raw materials which he acquires from the banks of the nearest rivers. Eduarda likes this work because it allows her to good profits compared to other businesses. She also considers her business to be very profitable because the building trade has a permanent demand for supplies. The important thing in her business is having capital available in order to acquire more raw materials. Her wish is to have a bigger warehouse.

Luzmila is receiving this loan from MFP. She has had positive experiences in taking loans as a member of her community bank. She is particularly happy to have developed a savings habit. Eduarda is currently requesting an individual loan and she pledges to be punctual in making her repayments.
