A loan of $350 helped to purchase green plantains, yucca, and bags.

Dinorah Del Carmen's story

Mrs. Dinorah is 47 years old. She lives in the El Tránsito area of San Miguel with her husband and two children ages 18 and 12. She sells tostadas (fried plantain), which her family helps her prepare. She started this business a number of years ago when she needed to help her husband cover the household expenses.

She is requesting a loan to purchase the ingredients she needs for her sales: green plantains, yucca, and bags. This purchase will help her to have sufficient product to always provide her customers with good service. She hopes that with this business she can improve her family's financial conditions and raise her children with an education so they can find work.
