Nasreen's Group's story

Nasreen is the resident of Depalpur which is a small city located in Punjab Pakistan and famous for its dairy industry. Her home is located in the area of Abdullah basti and it contains 3 rooms made up of bricks. She moved here after her marriage with M. A. about 24 years ago.
She is a 40 year-old housewife, stays at her home does household responsibilities. She is very active and completes her household tasks in a very efficient manner.

Her husband operates an auto repairing workshop where he can repair from motorbikes to cars. He is known as an expert in his work and has a good number of clients in his area.

Nasreen has given birth to 3 sons and 2 daughters. Her eldest son is 22 years old and works with his father in his workshop. The second son is a rickshaw driver and her elder daughter operates a clothes sewing business. Her remaining two children are enrolled in a local school.

She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah to improve her husband’s business. With the loan, he will buy auto repair tools to offer better quality services to his clients.

Her husband started this business 5 years ago and Nasreen is confident that the loan will help him further improve his business, which will result in better financial life for her family.
