A loan of $3,950 helped a member to purchase fruits, vegetables, baked goods, beverages, and other products.

Mujeres Trabajando Juntas Group's story

The committee “Mujeres Trabajando Juntas” (Women Working Together) has been in existence for more than two years and continues to work with Fundación Paraguaya. Most of its members engage in productive businesses, but the group also includes two women who will start their own ventures after they obtain their loans.

Sra. Estela M. sells fruits and vegetables, baked goods, beverages, and other products in order to support herself and her family. For some time she has wanted to expand her vending post, so she is requesting a loan to accomplish this goal.

All of the members hope for a better future for their children. For this reason, they double their efforts to secure what they need to grow and develop.

In this group: Maria, Pastora, Celia, Jacinta, Estela, Lourdes, Marta, Deidamia, Juana, Maria, Augusta, Valvina, Ana, Maria, Daysi, Sara*, Maria*, Hesun*
