La Cuadrita De Mi Barrio Group's story

This existing committee is in its eighth loan cycle and has the name “La Cuadrita de Mi Barrio” (The Little Corner of My Neighborhood).


The story being presented is that of Sra. Maria Teresa F.. She is 45 years old and a seamstress by profession. Maria makes clothing and bed sheets. She has a house in a section of the city of Asuncion in the San Antonio District where she also has an established customer base. Her dream is to expand her sewing workshop. Her daughters also know how to sew and are devoted to the same trade. She says that if she sets a goal for herself, she puts forth great effort to achieve it.
