Patriciah is a 37-year-old widowed lady with four children. To make a living and provide for her children, she runs a taxi business and also operates a retail shop to earn extra income. She was previously a farmer. Being the breadwinner in her family, she works hard to meet her children's basic needs, including education. Patriciah has been running her business for 11 years and it has grown since she joined Kiva partner, Faulu Kenya. Her living standards have improved as a result. Patriciah dreams of owning more taxi cars in the future. She has requested a loan of 60,000 KES to buy a gearbox.
