A loan of $1,000 helped purchase food for chickens, pigs and cows.

Pastor's story

Pastor, who is 45 years old, lives in San Francisco in the Morazán department, and raises pigs, cattle, and chickens. He is single and lives with his parents and siblings. For 20 years he has worked at this business learning the basics from his father, then taking agricultural classes. He sells the animals he raises in the public market in San Francisco Gotera and also at his house. He is requesting a loan in order to purchase food (specifically meal and feeds) for the chickens, pigs, and cows. The funds from this loan will help him to buy the feeds wholesale. These products will last him some time and he'll get better prices. Pastor's dream is to be able to increase the size of his chicken coop and pig pens, and become a wholesaler to supply the stores in the city.
