Sainte Bernadette Group's story

The ST BERNADETTE solidarity group was created on December 4, 2007. It consists of 11 women who are from the same church community. They belong to the Catholic Women's Association of St. Theresa. Their main activities are small businesses and raising pigs. The group members belong to the CEB of St. Theresa parish and are members of the Association of Catholic Women. They are engaged in small trade and raising pigs. The group was created on 04/12/2007. Mrs. AWA BA, standing at the right in the photo, is the leader of the group. She is married and the mother of seven dependent children. She operates a canteen in her home where she sells food products. She has operated this business for 4 years. Her new loan will enable her to expand her inventory of merchandise so that she can increase her income to better meet the family's needs. Her goal is to help her husband take care of the family's needs and pay for the children's school fees.
