A loan of $3,775 helped a member purchase cosmetics in quantity.

Nuevo Amanecer Group's story

The Communal Bank “Nuevo Amanecer” (New Dawn) consists of ten members, seven women and two men. Sra. Esperanza has two children. The father of her children earns a small pension that is barely enough to buy food. For this reason, Sra. Esperanza decided to go to work. She sells cosmetics and then serves food on the weekends. Esperanza is a hard worker and her two children are her incentive to move forward. The money from this loan will be used to buy merchandise that is on sale so that she can offer a variety of products to her customers.

This Communal Bank was formed by a group of local friends who have known each other for several years. Each one has an independent business. They are known each day for their respective activities. This Communal Bank is organized and dynamic. All of its members are grateful to Emprender for its support.
