A loan of $1,000 helped purchase flour at wholesale.

Lindor Stanley's story

Lindor is 46 years old and lives in the municipality of Soyapango, department of San Salvador, along with his wife, his parents and two young children. Lindor has his own bakery where he is in charge of baking the bread and later selling it, as much out of his home, where his bakery is located, as to the customers to whom he makes deliveries. He benefits from having a lot of customers who make orders in large quantities and are loyal to his business. Lindor is requesting the loan so he can purchase flour at wholesale so he can get it cheaper, as well as purchase lard, sugar, honey, yeast and other products that are very important to making bread. Although making headway with the business has been rather difficult, he has held firm in the desire to grow as a small businessman and thus provide his family with a better future.
