A loan of $850 helped a member to repair a tractor.

Kalyiman's Group's story

Kalyiman K. is the treasurer of this group. She is 50 and married to a tractor driver. Together they are bringing up a 3-year-old son. The family earns money by providing tractor services. Kalyiman’s husband has been doing this for 22 years. He got that tractor as an inheritance from his father. In this way the family earns 10,000 soms per month. That profit made it possible for them to save money and purchase 10 livestock animals for breeding.

Kalyiman applied for the loan because they need money to repair the tractor. In the future, the family wants to purchase a piece of land in Kerben for farming.
