Mujeres De Maíz Group's story

Reina V. V. D. G. is 45 years old and married. She has eight children, and six of them are in school. She devotes herself to working with her hands. She makes pants and t-shirts. Her husband is a merchant. They have been doing this work for 16 years. They started with a small amount of borrowed money.

Reina decided to organize a group in order to request a loan. That way they would be able to increase their working capital. Each one of the members devotes themselves to different productive activities like making pants, sweatshirts, t-shirts, shirts, selling blouses, buckets, trays, and raising animals. They hope to see their businesses improve with better earnings.
