Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Lilit's story

Lilit H. is 32 years old. She lives in Lchashen village. Lilit is married and she has a 9-year-old son, who is in schooll.

Lilit used to work as a geography teacher at Lchashen village school, and since 2006 she has worked in village administration as a secretary. Simultaneously with her permanent work, Lilit manages animal husbandry. She breeds cows, sheep, pigs and chickens as well. Her husband helps her a lot and that's how they support their family.

Lilit intends to increase her farming livestock, so she is asking for a 1,000,000 AMD loan, which she will use to buy some calves or sheep (depending on their cost).
