A loan of $425 helped a member to pay for medical treatment.

Sulaika's Group's story

Sulaika R., 58, is the leader of this group. She is a resident of Karabalta, a small town near Bishkek (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). Unfortunately she is a widow. She has raised two daughters; the first daughter works in Russia and the second works in a hospital.

Five years ago with the initial investment of 20,000 soms, Sulaika started to breed cattle. Reselling cattle at the higher price she makes 4000 soms per month. Sulaika hopes to obtain the loan because she needs funds to cover medical expenses.
