Darisuren's story

Darisuren, 48, is married and lives with her husband and two sons in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. They live in a ger, a nomadic tent, on a small plot of land that was loaned to them by the government. She wants to own her own land and build a house where they can have a comfortable life.

Darisuren has made felt-related crafts since 2008, after attending a vocational school. As an experienced tailor, her business is stable and she has many customers. She is a hard worker with a lot of initiative. Darisuren wants to expand her business and is requesting a loan of 1,350,000 MNT to purchase more felt and other materials.

Her husband has worked as a school janitor since 2009. Her older son is employed by a beverage company and her younger son attends school.
