A loan of $725 helped purchase merchandise for her store.

Yolanda's story

Yolanda is 34 years old, in a common law marriage, and has three children (ages 16, 10, and 5). She is requesting a loan of 2000 PEN and will invest in the purchase of merchandise to restock her store.

Yolanda previously worked doing road maintenance. With the capital she acquired, she opened a store in her house in the District of Acocro. She sells groceries such as rice, sugar, noodles, flour, eggs, detergents, toilet paper, and other items. Now she will sell products for the school year such as notebooks, pencils, pens, rulers, paints, and other supplies. She enjoys FINCA Peru because she can access loans and build up savings.

Her dream is to provide her children a good education so that they can have better opportunities than her. Yolanda also wants to expand her business.
