A loan of $800 helped to send his car to the shop to be refurbished.

Julio's story

Julio, who is 40 years old, lives with his wife and their small son, who is his reason for working to get ahead. Together, he and his wife put forth the effort to get ahead.

For the last six years, this hard-working man has made his living offering transportation services in the differents streets of his neighborhood. Thanks to his great effort, he was able to acquire his own vehicle. Even though his wife contributes to the household expenses by selling handicrafts, (her Peruvian motifed adornments sell very well), Julio's transportaion services are the principal means of support for his family. Together, he and his wife work to progress and to make a better life for their small son. Julio works all day long taking only a short break for lunch. In order to make the money that he wants, he needs to work hard. In the future, he hopes to purchase a car to offer for rent, and in that way he hopes to continue getting ahead.

Julio plans to invest the requested money in sending his car to the shop to be refurbished; he wants to offer quality service to his passengers.

This is his second loan with MFP, and he promises to make timely payments. He doesn't want to let down the people who have made it possible for him to obtain the money that has allowed him to continue working in search of progress.
