A loan of $450 helped to buy a griddle to make pupusas (thick cornmeal stuffed with cheese, pork, or beans).

Ana Vilma's story

Ana is 53 and lives in San Francisco Gotera with her two children, Milton, 24 and Idalia, 17 and a 5-year old grandson. Ana sells prepared food and pupusas (thick cornmeal stuffed with cheese, pork, or beans) in a stand in the municipal market. She works there daily, along with her daughter who helps her with the customers.
She is requesting a loan to buy a griddle to make the pupusas, and ingredients for the food that she sells. With the purchase of this griddle, she will be able to increase the quantity of food, develop her business and handle more people.
Her goal is to continue innovations with her business, to attract new customers and to offer her children and grandchildren a better future.
