A loan of $750 helped capital to invest in a rabbit farm.

Dora's story

Dora lives in the Viloma Grande zone, which is 25 kilometers from the city of Cochabamba in the Sipe Sipe municipality. She devotes herself to producing raw milk and to farming. She grows onions, carrots, and corn. She has three young children, ages 12, 7, and 5. They go to school in the zone where they live. Her common-law husband left her three years ago.

Now they live alone in her house. Dora has always looked for the way to support her household. She now works on a project that works with packaging plants. They have created a new project, which will help them. This project consists of raising and fattening rabbits. This project will build the farm, and the affiliates need to buy the rabbits.

This investment is why Dora came to us. She knows about this business, and she knows that it will give her very good results. With this additional business activity Dora will be able to generate more income for her family. She is a very enterprising and hard-working woman. In time she will achieve all of her dreams, which are that her children finish school and become successful people.
