Nga's Group's story

This village bank loan consists of sixteen members located in Kandal Kaoh Touch village in Kandal province. Mrs. Nga N., who was born in 1955, is the village bank president selected by the other members.

She and her husband, Mr. Bung Chea, are farmers who own a 1.6-hectare plot of land on which they grow rice and taro to support their family. Mrs. Nga N. would like to ask for a loan to buy taro seeds and rice seeds to maintain her crops.

This couple works hard with their farming to support their four children: two are seamstresses in a garment factory, one is a farmer, and one attends a local school.
