Sakina is the mother of 5 girls. Three of them are studying, while the others stay at home because they are too young to attend school. Her husband’s name is M. A. and he has an animal sales business. He buys young buffaloes and goats, raises them and sells for a profit to the required customers.

Sakina, herself, is a housewife, prefers to stay at home and does her household responsibilities. In her spare time she also helps her husband by taking care of his animals, providing them timely food and water. She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her husband who wants to expand his animal sales business. With the loan, he will buy animals (goats) that will help him increasing his sales and earns good profit.

He is operating this business for past 10 years and Sakina is hopeful about the positive growth of his business after the loan investment. She is a regular loan user of Asasah and this is her 5th loan application. In previous loan years, she has maintained a good credit behavior and never missed any meeting.
