A loan of $1,200 helped to buy more pigs to raise for sale.

Trouk's story

Trouk H., 48, resides with her family in Takeo province, Cambodia, an area known for its pre-Angkorean temples. H. raises pigs, earning an income of $3.3 USD per day. Her husband is a fisherman, earning an income of $5 USD per day. Each month, the family has to spend $20 USD on food and $60 USD on other necessary expenses. H. is requesting a loan of $1,200 USD to purchase more pigs for resale. In the future, she would like to use the additional income to repair her house.
