Phorn P., 62, resides with his family in Kampong Chnang province, Cambodia, an area known for palm products. P. is a traditional doctor, earning an income of USD 3 per day. His wife is employed at the factory, earning an income of USD 3.5 per day to help cover the family expenses. Each month, the family has to spend USD 80 on food and USD 38 on the other necessary expenses.
P. is requesting a loan of USD 1000 to purchase an inexpensive truck to transport firewood and charcoal for sale. This will be his first loan from CREDIT, a long standing Kiva partner.
