Hak L. resides with her family in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia, an area known for rubber plantation. L. is a farmer, earning an income of USD 2 per day. Her husband is a play instructor, earning an income of USD 10 per day. Each month, the family has to spend USD 83 on food and USD 85 on the other necessary expenses. L. is requesting a loan of USD 750 to purchase an generator to light the stage when her husband has a show. In the future, she would like to use the additional income to repair her house.
