Perpetue M. is a 32-year-old business woman whi lives in the center of Nyanza in the commune Nyanza-Lac in the Makamba province in the south of Burundi. She sells food products such as fruits and vegetables, beans and fresh fish from the lake. She has done this for the past 8 years. She completed primary school up to 6th grade. She is married with 3 children, one of whom goes to school. She is on her 9th credit cycle with Turame Community Finance.

She is asking for this Kiva loan in order to increase her capital and buy a lot of food products to sell to her clients in the hopes of increasing her savings et grow her business. She thanks Turame for giving loans to poor people since she has seen improvement in her quality of life since starting this business. She is a member of the Komezimbere Group.
