San Roque Group's story

The Women’s Committee named “San Roque” was formed on October 29, 2008. Eva, the current Director General, sells animals for a living. Thanks to her efforts, she learned about the Committee of Women Entrepreneurs Program after visiting Fundación Paraguaya. Once she was advised about the program requirements, Eva was able to gather eighteen women who enjoy working. They are in their sixth loan cycle working together in the program.

The group is known for working together and cooperating with one another. All of them participate in fundraising activities so that they can help one another reach their common goals and those of Fundación Paraguaya.

Sra. Eva raises chickens, cows, and pigs and later sells them to small business owners who want these animals for their meat. In addition, she sells other products such as milk from her cows, eggs from her chickens, and lard from her pigs.

In this group: Eva , Teresa, Juana, Maria Victoria, Manuela, Librada, Eulalia, Rosa, Sulpicia, Norma, Mirian, Maria Sabina, Ana, Yohana, Valeria, Gladys, Cynthia, Gladis
