The solidarity group SOP SERIGNE FALLOU was created one year and a half ago. It is made up of 15 women who are from the same village. They came together as neighbors and by affinity. Their main activity is small-scale retail. The group is a part of the "Banc Villageois" of DIADIORDE.

Madam Awa B., standing on the far right end of the picture, is in charge of the group. She is 49-years-old. She is married and the mother of 8 children. She also takes care of her grand-daughter.

She runs a small business selling vegetables and fresh fish. She stocks up in the nearby villages and sells in the village.

With her new loan, she will increase her supplies, in order to generate larger profits. She assists her husband with the family expenses and with the children's school fees, while increasing her savings.

Le groupe de solidarité SOP SERIGNE FALLOU est créé depuis un an et demi. Il est composé de 15 femmes qui sont du même village. Elles se sont organisées par voisinage et par affinité. Leur activité principale est le petit commerce. Le groupe fait partie du Banc Villageois de DIADIORDE

Madame Awa B. debout à l'extrême droite sur la photo est responsable du groupe. Elle est âgée de 49 ans. Elle est mariée et mère de 08 enfants. Elle a aussi la charge de sa petite fille.

Elle fait un petit commerce de légumes et de poisson frais. Elle s'approvisionne dans les villages voisins et revend dans le village.

Avec son nouveau crédit elle va augmenter son niveau d'approvisionnement afin d'escompter des bénéfices plus importants.

Elle soutien son mari dans les dépenses courantes de la famille et dans la prise en charge de la scolarité des enfants tout en agmentant son épargne
