Santo Domingo Group's story

This committee was started in the Santo Domingo neighborhood in the city of Caaguazú. Hermelinda G. took part in an informational meeting in her area and she came up with the idea of starting a committe on her block with her neighbors. They got together with lots of enthusiasm, seventeen women in all, each with her own independent job. They've got the desire and the responsibility they need and they all help each other and work as a team.

Hermelinda needs a loan to get more pantry items. She needs to buy a lot of products that, for lack of means, she couldn't get before. She's a very devoted mother and wants her children to have a much better life than she had.

In this group: Hermelinda, Felicia, Nidia Concepcion, Aurora, Ninfa Eusebia, Limpia Concepcion, Teodolina, Ygnacia, Bernarda, Luciana, Silvina, Ilse Maries, Elena, Elsa, Clara Adriana, Reinalda*, Narcisa*
