A loan of $1,200 helped repair the house.

Lem's story

Lem K., 35, is married and lives with her four young children in the Prey Veng province. She is a farmer who works for less than $1 each day, while her husband is a soldier making $2.50 each day. The weather conditions have been difficult for farming in Cambodia this past year and inflation has caused food prices to skyrocket. These factors have played into a difficult economic year for many Cambodians, Lem K. included.

In light of these economic difficulties, she is asking for a loan of $1,200 to repair her house.
