Ingrith's story

Ingrith belongs to the communal bank “Maria Auxiliadora”, in Tarapto, San Martin Province. She is 28, partnered, and has a dependent child. Ingrith is very entrepreneurial and has opened her own business selling household goods and clothing (Bazar). She has a shop in the local market in her city, where she has gained a following among her clients and prospered in her business activities. She opens the shop at 9:00 am. every day. Ingrith has now had her shop for some years and feels very content with the results of her efforts. With a credit of S/ 2,000.00, Ingrith plans to buy clothes, ties, pants, blouses, shoes, and other items for women, men and children. She will also use part of the credit to buy: decorations, soap, sandals and hygiene products.
